silk paintings

I began painting on silk after a close friend recommended the process to me. Working with silk has helped my painting style to become more expressionistic. When applied to the fabric, the dyes take on a life of their own with colors bleeding into one another, creating wonderful effects. I produce silk paintings as both scarves to be worn and as artwork to be framed and displayed.
