WHAT TYPES OF WEDDING STATIONERY DESIGNS DO YOU OFFER?
I offer custom illustrated invitations and save the dates as well as a variety of printed wedding day stationery. These include ceremony programs, menus, table numbers, place cards, signage, gift tags, stickers and thank you notes.
HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE FOR CUSTOM ILLUSTRATION AND WHAT IS THE PROCESS?
Pricing for custom illustrations begins at $350 per illustration. For an accurate price quote, contact me with detailed information on the type of illustration you are looking for, and I will provide you with a quote.
To begin the custom illustration/design process, you will be billed either a 50% deposit or the full amount of the illustration(s), depending on the scope of the project. You will be sent a preliminary pencil sketch (or sketches) to review and approve. Upon your approval, I will begin the final illustration(s). Once the work is complete, you will receive finalized proof of your design. If the final design is to be printed, I will go over printing options with you and you will be billed for the printing before it goes to press.
WHAT TYPES OF PRINTING DO YOU OFFER?
Working with a team of professional printing experts, we offer the following:
Standard 4 color printing - our full color digital printing process on a variety of high quality, heavy weight paper stocks.
White ink printing - white ink printing is available on certain paper stocks.
Gold and silver foil stamping - custom foil stamping available on heavy weight smooth and cotton paper stocks. Please allow 3-4 weeks.
Letterpress - 1 and 2 color letterpress is available on 100% cotton and Superfine paper stocks. Please allow 3-4 weeks.
WHAT ARE YOUR PAPER OPTIONS?
Our standard paper stock options are 120 lb uncoated white cover stock and 100 lb white felt textured cover stock. We also have 100% cotton and double thick paper stocks available upon request. If you have a specific paper you would like to use for a project, please let me know.
WHEN SHOULD I ORDER?
For wedding stationery, we have a recommended time line that you can review to help you plan your ordering. See the Tips & Info page for more information.
Turn Around Time
Order turn around depends on the type of design. When ordering custom artwork, you can generally expect the design process to take around 2-3 weeks, depending on the complexity and number of revisions. Once the artwork is completed and the design has been approved, digital print production time is generally about 7-10 business days. Foil stamping and letterpress jobs require 3-4 weeks. If the project needs to be hand assembled or embellished, additional time is required.
Depending on my design schedule and/or our printing schedule, rush jobs can be accepted for an additional rush fee.
WILL I SEE A PROOF?
Yes! I will always send you a digital proof to review for approval before your order is finalized and sent to print. If you would like to see a printed sample of your customized design, you may request a hard copy proof for an additional fee (digital printing only).
Although I try to give the best representation on screen, I always recommend ordering a hard copy sample to see how your printed piece will look in person. I offer single printed proofs of your project for an additional fee. Keep in mind that this will also add more time to the turn around of your project.
Upon request, I do offer packets with a variety of printed samples so you can see the paper and print options.
DO YOU OFFER ITEMS AND SERVICES OTHER THAN INVITATION DESIGN?
In addition to invitations, I offer other stationery such as save the dates, wedding programs, menus, favor tags, place cards, table numbers, thank you notes and signs. I also create custom illustrations and logo design services for both commercial and personal use.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
Nooney Art Designs will accept most major credit cards and Venmo through PayPal invoicing. PayPal is fast and easy, requires no PayPal account, and your credit card info is never shared. Depending on the type of project, payments may be due in full before any production begins, or a 50% deposit will be required. Sales tax will be applied to all orders in New York state.
DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS OR OFFER REFUNDS?
On any custom printed items, please note that upon final approval of your order we cannot accept returns due to any and all errors (such as misspelled words etc.). By approving your final proof you accept responsibility for the information and layout as shown. If errors are discovered after final proof approval and you would like to request a reprint, there will be a reprint charge. Once approved and printed, we cannot accept cancellations or refunds on custom printed orders.
HOW WILL MY PRINT ORDER BE SHIPPED?
Samples are shipped via USPS First Class unless otherwise requested. Larger orders are typically shipped via UPS. Express shipping is available for an extra charge. I do ship internationally, but please note that due to customs procedures, I cannot guarantee specific shipping times. International buyers are responsible for paying all import duty, tax, and fees which may be collected by their country when the order arrives. Please contact me for details. Shipping cost is estimated based on your shipping location and weight.
WHAT IS YOUR COPYRIGHT POLICY?
Copyrights
Unless otherwise stated in the contract, Nooney Art Designs retains all copyrights and has the right to display the illustration for self-promotional purposes including but not limited to photography, social media, blog posts and print publications. Purchase of an illustration does not automatically transfer copyright.
Credits/Online Usage
For personal illustrations published online or in print, I respectfully request that the client credit Nooney Art Designs on any publication of the illustration. This includes but is not limited to any social media (including but not limited to Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, etc.), blog posts and print magazines.
